Not for EM Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma (AEM) trainees, Dip PHRM trainees, or SIMG pathways — those programs have different requirements. Pro-rata EM-WBA targets are calculated from Table 2 of the FACEM Training Program Curriculum, per 12 months FTE of Core ED time for each training stage.

This planner applies only to the FACEM Training Program (Fellowship pathway) for trainees who commenced after 1 February 2022. Every effort is made to maintain the accuracy of the information used to generate this tracker. All content, targets and calendar plans are provided in good faith as a general scheduling aid only. They do not constitute advice from ACEM or eMedu, and no legal liability is accepted for any errors, omissions, or reliance on this tool. Term setup

EM-WBAs can only be completed in ED time, so Non-ED terms carry no EM-WBA targets — ITAs still continue. Maintenance terms accrue no new targets, but any outstanding stage requirements must be completed.

ITAs run every 3 calendar months throughout training, not per term. Enter the trainee's last ITA due date (or training commencement) so reminders match their real cycle. Leave blank to count from term start.

Downloads a calendar file with every WBA due date and ITA reminder, each with a 7-day alert. On iPhone, open the file to add events to Apple Calendar. On Android, import it into Google Calendar (or open with your calendar app) — Google Calendar may apply your default notification settings instead of the built-in 7-day alert, so check your default event notifications if you don't see reminders. WBA due dateITA (every 3 calendar months)

EM-WBAs must be completed by the end of 12 months FTE of Core ED for each of TS1–TS3, or 12 FTE months of Core or Elective ED time for TS4. Encounters focused on technical or procedural skills must not be completed as Mini-CEX — they are assessed as DOPS. Fractional pro-rata targets are rounded up so the term keeps pace with the stage requirement; the suggested dates are a pacing aid, not ACEM deadlines. Whole-of-training items — Core DOPS (Procedural Requirement), the Paediatric Emergency Requirement (6 × PER-WBAs, 2 × PER-DOPS, Portfolio), and the Research Requirement — are not term-based and are not scheduled here.
